What is event attendee management software?
It is the system that holds your attendee list and runs everything attached to it: registration, payments, status tracking, communication, check-in and reporting. Eventdex covers these through registration, guest list management, check-in and reports, so the list does not move between separate tools.
Can I import an existing guest list?
Yes. Guest list management supports importing and exporting attendee lists, uploading invite lists directly, and syncing program members from an integrated platform. Eventdex's pages do not list the file formats or fields accepted, so ask in a demo. Imports save re-typing a list that already exists elsewhere.
How does Eventdex handle VIP guests?
You can keep VIP lists, tag guests as VIP or regular, and set VIP alerts so your team gets an email or SMS when a VIP arrives and can welcome them in person. Guests can also be sorted and filtered, so VIP lists stay separate from the general list.
What can I track about attendees?
You can track RSVP status (confirmed, declined, not yet responded), payments and registration data, check-in and check-out, and session attendance. Registration reports show received and due dates and when refunds were disbursed. Lists and tags let you pull reports for one segment of attendees, such as VIP guests only.
Does attendee check-in work without internet?
Yes. Offline check-in stores check-ins on the device and syncs them in the background once the connection returns, according to the check-in and badge printing page. Ask in a demo how it fits your venue and devices. This matters in convention centers or remote venues where the network is unreliable or overloaded.
Can I email my attendees from Eventdex?
Registration automates event emails such as confirmations, and the mobile app sends push notifications for live updates. Eventdex email is for event transactions, not promotional campaigns.
