Event Payment Processing
Take payment for your event online and at the door, and refund it from the same platform
Event payment processing is how an event collects money: ticket and registration payments online, payments from walk-ins at the door, and refunds when plans change. Eventdex covers all three inside its registration platform, from online sign-up to walk-in payments and refunds.
Eventdex connects to payment gateways, including PayPal, Stripe and Authorize.Net, and its registration page says the platform is PCI compliant. Its gateway integrations can collect, refund or partially refund payments. At the door, Tap to Pay takes card payments on a compatible iOS device. Eventdex describes its ticketing as 0% commission, with no per-ticket fee from Eventdex.

FAQ
Event Payment Processing: common questions
Which payment gateways does Eventdex support?
Eventdex's pages name PayPal, Stripe, Stripe Adaptive, Authorize.Net, Square, Touchnet and TrustCommerce, and say registration works with 10+ gateways, including Stripe, Square, Authorize.net and more. Eventdex's pages do not say which gateways suit which countries, so ask in a demo which one fits your event and how it is connected.
How does tap to pay work at the door?
Tap to Pay is built into the Scan Attendee app. Attendees pay by holding a contactless card or an iOS device near the terminal, and the page says the payment is processed in a few seconds. Organizers can use a compatible iOS smartphone as the terminal, with no additional hardware. It works with Stripe and Square.
Can I refund a registration?
Yes. The registration page says you can register, cancel, modify and process a refund for attendees, and that the gateway integrations can refund or partially refund a payment. Guests can do this themselves if you allow it. Eventdex's pages do not describe refund deadlines or approval steps, so ask in a demo if you need rules for refunds.
Does Eventdex charge a commission on tickets?
Eventdex describes a 0% commission ticketing platform with no per-ticket fee from Eventdex. Its pages do not give gateway fee amounts or say how a gateway's own charges apply, so check the terms and rates of the gateway you connect, and ask in a demo.
Can attendees pay in installments?
The onsite event management page says organizers can manage partial payments. Eventdex's pages do not describe installment schedules or automatic payment plans, so ask in a demo if attendees need to pay over time, for example in several payments before the event.
Does it handle other currencies and payout timing?
The ticketing page says Eventdex supports global currencies, and the zero-commission page describes payouts as processed when tickets are sold. The pages do not list currencies or describe payout timing for each gateway, so ask in a demo before you plan around either.
