Event Sponsorship Packages
How do you build event sponsorship packages that sponsors say yes to?
A sponsorship package is the menu you hand a company that might back your event: what it can buy, what it gets in return and what that costs. A good set of packages makes the decision easy. A weak set is a list of logo placements with a price at the bottom, and the sponsor has to work out for themselves why it matters.
This guide shows how to build tiers, what to put in each one and how to present the comparison. The table and the outline use placeholders only: price your own packages against your audience, your costs and what similar events in your field ask. We do not publish a price list because there is no honest universal one.

Start with what sponsors actually want
Sponsors rarely buy a logo. They buy access to people and proof they were seen. Before you draw tiers, write down what your audience offers a sponsor in plain words: who attends, what they decide or buy, and what the sponsor can do with them at the event.
Visibility
Their name in front of the audience: signs, the website, the event app, badges and printed material.
Access
A speaking slot, a session they host, a booth or a table where they meet people.
Leads
Contact details of people who showed interest, collected with the attendee's consent.
Proof
A report after the event that shows what happened, so the sponsor can justify the spend and renew.
How to build the tiers
Three or four tiers is enough for most events. More than that makes the choice harder, not better.
List every sponsorable asset
Sessions, the registration page, badges and lanyards, the app, a networking reception, meals, signage, the stage, a charging station, a giveaway. Each is something you can sell.
Sort assets by value to a sponsor
Mark each one high, medium or low. A keynote and a hosted session are high. A logo on the website is low.
Group them into three or four tiers
The top tier holds the high-value assets. Lower tiers keep a selection. Give every tier at least one thing that costs you little and makes the sponsor feel included.
Limit the top tiers
A tier with one or two places is easier to sell than one without a limit. Only say a tier is limited if it is.
Add single items
Offer a few stand-alone options, such as a lunch or the lanyards, for companies that do not want a full package. They are also a way in for next year.
Leave room for a custom package
A sponsor sometimes wants something you did not list. Say you are open to it. Check each custom request against your other sponsors so you stay fair.
A package comparison table with placeholder values
Show the tiers side by side so a sponsor can compare them in one look. Every value below is a placeholder to replace with your own. The prices are blank on purpose.
| Benefit | Presenting | Gold | Silver | Supporter |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Price | [price] | [price] | [price] | [price] |

A sponsorship package outline you can copy
Use this as the text of one package page in your sponsorship deck. Repeat it for each tier and keep the same order so sponsors can compare them.

Presenting and pricing the packages
Put the audience first and the price last. Lead with who attends and why that matters to the sponsor, then show the tiers, then the price. Price against your costs, your audience size and what comparable events in your field ask. We cannot give you a number because the right one depends on all three.
Keep a record of every sponsor conversation, their goals and what they bought, so you can make a better offer next time. Our sponsorship letter template gives you the first message to send, and our event proposal template covers a broader pitch for a client or partner.

FAQ
Event Sponsorship Packages: common questions
How many sponsorship tiers should an event have?
Three or four for most events, plus a few single items. More tiers make the choice harder and the differences between them harder to explain.
What should an event sponsorship package include?
Visibility before, during and after the event, some form of access to attendees such as a session or a booth, a way to collect leads, a post-event report, and clear terms for payment and what the sponsor must supply.
How do I price event sponsorship packages?
Start from your costs and the value of your audience, then compare with similar events in your field. There is no standard price, so the values in our table are placeholders you replace.
Can a sponsor give goods or services instead of money?
Yes. In-kind sponsors supply things like venue space, catering, printing or software. Agree a fair value for it in writing and treat it as you would a cash sponsor in the package.
Does Eventdex set sponsorship prices or draft sponsor agreements?
No. Eventdex provides the sponsorship features described on its event sponsorship page, such as booths, logo placements, app ads and reports. Prices and agreements are yours to set.
